Hidilyn Diaz and the law of attraction

When she was only 17 years old and preparing for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Hidilyn was interviewed for the 24 Oras segment “Time Out.” In the vid, Hidilyn said she started weightlifting at 11 years old after she saw her cousins trying the sport.

Weightlifter and olympian Ramon Solis, Hidilyn’s coach at that time, added that Hidilyn would go through a long-term training program until 2012.

When asked about her future, Hidilyn said she believes she will win an Olympic gold someday!

And…in a recent interview with Boy Abunda, Hidilyn was asked: “Gagawing pelikula ang buhay mo, ano ang titulo?” Her answer will seriously give you goosebumps because she said, “Ginto.” Go, Hidi!
