Bryan Danielson def. Nick Jackson

Nick Jackson will forever be known as one-half of one of the greatest tag teams ever, yet his match against Bryan Danielson was still hailed as a Dream Match.

Bryan Danielson has been wrestling his ass off since coming to AEW, he really seems like he has something to prove and this match was the perfect opener.

Jade Cargill def. Thunder Rosa and Nyla Rose

Smart Mark Sterling is such a vibe in the best way. He’s one of the premier hidden treasures in pro wrestling.

Man did Jade Cargill look like a star tonight. Bryan Danielson and Nick Jackson may have had the best technical match, but this one was my favorite. They really put Jade Cargill over strong by pinning Thunder Rosa and even had her stand over Thunder Rosa in celebration.

Jade Cargill seems to be in the MJF boat where she’s more than ready for a world title shot, but because the current champion is a heel she’s going to have to wait it out.

Orange Cassidy def. Jack Evans

The pre-match segment between Orange Cassidy, Mark Henry and Jack Evans was hilarious as Cassidy didn’t know what match he signed up for and just said “I guess I’m not going to lose” before walking off.

Not one soul in the building thought Orange Cassidy was going to lose this match and it showed in the crowd reaction up until the finishing sequences.

Jack Evans got a lot in this match, which is a good sign for one of the more underrated AEW talents.

The Dark Order and The Best Friends performed a group hug. Was this a merger?
