CM Punk def. Daniel Garcia

This night started off with the Mark Henry face-to-face segment between CM Punk and Daniel Garcia.

CM Punk said he didn’t come back to the world of wrestling, the world of wrestling came back to him.

I was very glad to see CM Punk back in long tights, which is a superior look to his trunks.

This was a glorified Muay Thai match in the best way. It was more of a Daniel Garcia match than a CM Punk match but Punk adapted seamlessly.

CM Punk broke out a rare piledriver in this match and finished with his first Anaconda Vice in seven years.

The Lucha Bros def. The Acclaimed

Max Caster’s rap was the best thing on this show as he went in on Philadelphia sports teams and even their beloved fake boxer Rocky Balboa.

AEW did a good job editing out the “F—k Ben Simmons” chants.”

This was a almost a squash match.

Jade Cargill def. Skye Blue

Philadelphia absolutely loved Jade Cargill. This was an opposite of Skye Blue’s lovefest back in Chicago.

Fans quickly turned on Jade Cargill after she put the boots to Skye Blue following her victory.

Ricky Starks def. Brian Cage—Philly Street Fight

Brin Cage pad homage to his mentor Kanyon with an awesome Kanyon t-shirt during a pre-match segment.

We’re getting to the point where fans are singing along with Mark Henry when he says “It’s time for the main event!”

Despite this being a Philly Street Fight, both Cage and Starks wrestled in full gear.

Taz continue to call this match a sa pro-Ricky Starks heel, but I would have liked more of a live appearance by Taz in front of this Philadelphia crowd.

It took all the outside interference from every member of Team Taz for Ricky Starks to win this match.
