Anne Curtis looks forward to It’s Showtime return; does not say when exactly

Anne Curtis looked back on some of her happy moments as one of the hosts of It’s Showtime, which celebrated its 12th anniversary on October 24, 2021.

Anne posted on Instagram various photos with her co-hosts that were taken from different years of the program.

She wrote in the caption, “Happy 12th anniversary my showtime family. A lot of things have changed, but I know these things still remain – the love we have for one another, our madlang people and the goal to continue to make them happy.”

Anne has been on leave from the show for more than a year, and is looking forward to being with her It’s Showtime Kapamilya again.

She expressed, “Looking forward to when I can laugh so hard again like the last pic with you guys again! I miss you all sooooooo much!”

Anne also gave everyone in It’s Showtime a shout-out for continuing to stage an “amazing show” in these tough times.

She continued, “I’d also like to take this opportunity to commend my brothers, sisters, of course Inay and the whole showtime family behind the camera who continue to work hard to put on an amazing show despite the challenges of the last few years. Thank you and I Love you guys!!!! Happy Anniversary @itsshowtimena!”

“P.S – while looking for all these pics, stumbled across some videos of us. Grabe noh. Riot and super laugh trip talaga tayo.”

Anne’s co-hosts Jugs Jugueta and Amy Perez, former It’s Showtime host Kim Atienza, and guest host Ogie Alcasid left comments on her post.

Anne was last seen in It’s Showtime studio in December 2019 before she took her maternity leave.

Anne then spent the succeeding months in Australia, where she gave birth to baby Dahlia in March 2021.

She returned to the Philippines with her family in February 2021.

In April 2020, Anne had a short interaction with the hosts of It’s Showtime, which is currently Zoom-based.

She was also rumored to be eyeing a GMA-7 transfer when she met with some executives of GMA Films.

Anne clarified the meeting was about a movie offer, which she has not accepted yet.

She also assured that she is a Kapamilya, and will return to It’s Showtime.

In an interview with Boy Abunda, Anne explained she was just careful about doing projects that will require long-term tapings.

She told Boy, “Dahlia is still quite young pa. I am just being very cautious muna. But soon. Babalik ako, for sure iyon. Babalik talaga ako for sure.”
