Are Jennica Garcia and Alwyn Uytingco on good terms again?

In an interview with 24 Oras last October 14, 2021, the Las Hermanas actress hinted at possibly reconciling with her estranged husband.

Jennica told 24 Oras reporter Lhar Santiago, “I am very thankful to Jesus because He heard my prayers. He gave me what I was hoping for—for Alwyn to come back [to] us. He expressed his desire for family restoration.”

Early this year, Jennica’s marital woes made headlines after the netizens noticed that photos of Alwyn disappeared from her Instagram feed.

Jennica later confirmed that they have separated, and underlined that it was not because of “financial problem.”

The actress soon unfollowed the actor on Instagram and dropped his surname on her social-media handles.

Alwyn, for his part, kept mum on the issue save for the cryptic message he posted about life’s journey in April.

It read: “Sa paglalakbay ng buhay, may paakyat.. may pababa. May pa-diretso, may pa-liko. May patag, may lubak. May payapang pag-agos ng alon, may malakas na kulog at kidlat ng kalangitan.”

His most recent post was put out on June 29. It was his apology to Jennica.

“Mahal kita, @jennicauytingco. Sorry sa lahat ng pagkukulang ko. Patawad sa lahat ng pagkakamali ko. Di mahalaga kung ano sabihin nila.. ang mahalaga para sakin ay mga salita na manggagaling sayo. Natalisod man ako, hindi ko hahayaan na nandito lang ako. Babangon ako, mahal. At patuloy na babagtas patungo sayo. Mahal na mahal kita.”

Jennica and Alwyn secretly married in February 2014. They have two daughters, Mori and Alessi.
