Despite the limitations brought about by the pandemic, Carla Abellana confirmed that she and Tom Rodriguez are pushing through with their wedding in November.
“Mas mahirap, given kasi pandemic ngayon, most especially because we don’t have full control over what’s happening around us, pati yung protocols, decision ng government, it affects everything,” Carla said in an interview with Lhar Santiago on GMA News’ 24 Oras.
“Pero kahit paano, naitatawid naman po so far,” she added.
Carla and Tom announced their engagement in March 2021, but the proposal actually happened in October 2020.
In May, Carla and Tom’s wedding banns went ~viral~ on social media, letting netizens know about their wedding date, church, down to their full names, cities of residence, as well as the names of their parents. “It is a necessary step to be able to secure a wedding permit,” Carla wrote.
These days, Carla and Tom are busy with their wedding preps. In Carla’s latest vlog, she shows how they’ve been meeting with suppliers, attending their pre-Cana (a course or consultation for Catholics about to be married), and working on their wedding gift registry.
