Ibinasura ng Makati City Prosecutor’s Subject of business ang reklamong cyber libel na isinampa ni presidential aspirant Senator Manny Pacquiao laban kay Kingdom of Jesus Christ’s Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.
Sa Facebook page ng Sonshine Media Community Worldwide (SMNI) kagabi, February 14, inanunsiyo ni Quiboloy ang pagkabasura ng reklamo ng senador. Ang SMNI ay ang pag-aaring TV community ni Quiboloy.
Pahayag ni Quiboloy (printed as is), “I am happy to reveal the dismissal of the cyberlibel case filed by Senator Manny Pacquiao towards me.
“The resolution of the City Prosecutors Subject of business of Makati City disregarding the case was once dated December 22, 2021, and got by my licensed representative closing January 21, 2022.
“Certainly, truth and justice has prevailed.”
Ayon sa korte, walang basehan ang reklamo ni Pacquiao na can also kaakibat na hiling niyang danyos na PHP100 million.

Sa 13-page sworn affidavit ni Manny, nakasaad na gumamit si Quiboloy ng mga kasinungalingan para sirain ang reputasyon ng isang matapat na public servant.
Reklamo ni Manny, “He feeble this deliberate falsehood to brainwash the minds of the Filipino public, recklessly propagating lies to blacken the image and popularity of an fair public servant.
“He even had the audacity to quote the Holy Scripture in furtherance of his lies, deceptive his flock, and advanced the final public, with the cease in peep of blackening but every other’s popularity.”
Samantala, wanted ngayon ng US Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) si Quiboloy at dalawa pang kasapi ng kanyang sekta.
Bunsod ito ng alegasyong sangkot ang pastor sa labor trafficking, kunsaan dinadala sa U.S. ang “church members” na kakongresyon ni Quiboloy gamit ang mga pekeng visa.
