What will you miss about playing your character on the show?
Glaiza: “What I’ll miss about playing my Maita is her tenacity. Lagi ako nire-remind ng character niya to be emotionally and mentally strong despite the challenges she faces.”
Claire: “I will miss yung mga outburst po ni Cielo. Kasi in a way, I get to express so much in those scenes. It’s a relieving feeling po, like an outlet. And I learned so much acting tips from my co-stars. I’ll miss the conversations I had with them and everyone on the set.”
Direk Gina: “I will miss the location, the resort I own, yung Montaire Resort. Kasi it is so peaceful there. I enjoyed every moment that I was there. Of course, I will miss my son Alex [Rayver], kasi I felt na parang anak ko talaga siya whenever we have our scenes together.”
During the lock-in taping, what are the unforgettable moments with the cast?
Glaiza: “Unforgettable moments yung mga rest days namin kasi dun ko nakikita yung other side ng mga co-actors and production staff namin. Yung goofy/relaxed personas nila, yung mga times na nagkukuwentuhan lang kami tungkol sa buhay, tuwing kumakain at nagwu-work out.”
Rayver: “Pag end of the day, nag-uusap-usap kami sa labas ng villas.
Direk Gina: “Natutuwa akong panoorin sila especially on rest days, na nag-e-exercise in their own corners. Si Glaiza, Rayver and Mike, mga exercise freaks sila. They run, box, they carry weights. It’s fun to watch them. Minsan natye-tyempuhan ko silang nagja-jamming. Si Glaiza, kumakanta. The set is so peaceful, walang pasaway. I will miss Myrtle, I like her so much”
Direk Ricky: “Because of the circumstances [shooting during a pandemic], there is a certain stress and paranoia even if we all tested negative. But working with this wonderful and professional cast, we all forgot about it and really enjoyed the process of making this project, kahit na medyo heavy yung theme. Everything was unforgettable—the time spent with the cast, strategizing for each scene. One truly unforgettable moment was when we shot the party scene where we saw the backslap of Direk Gina Alajar and the viral cake scene of Claire.”
If you were to write the ending of the series, how will you want it to end?
Glaiza: “Siguro mag-migrate sina Maita at Alex somewhere in Europe to start a new life.
Rayver: “The ending is really perfect for me. I would write siguro na magkaroon ng sequel or book 2. Feeling ko, mas okay yun.”
Claire: “I will make sure Maita will get the justice and peace she deserves.”
Direk Gina: “I want to end it with a happy ending.”
Direk Ricky: “Honestly, I will still end it the same way. It was based on an iconic movie of the same title and I have great respect for the director and writer that I wouldn’t want to change a thing. I still love how all characters went through their own problems and were able to redeem themselves at the end.”
What do you think is the most important takeaway the viewers can learn from the series?
Glaiza: “Takeaway the viewers can learn from this series is the nature of different relationships. To see the potential pitfalls of handling situations with the most important people in your lives. In the end, all we need is forgiveness.”
Rayver: “Just love. And always be happy and enjoy life. And of course, unconditional love.”
Claire: “I think everyone can learn about unconditional love and conditional love. Forgiveness as well and when it’s ok not to forgive.”
Direk Gina: “We should be aware or we should observe our loved ones. Kapag may nakita or napansin tayo na medyo kakaiba na sa ikinikilos nila, wag tayong matakot to confront it. We should address the problem immediately. Dapat di tayo maging co-dependent.”
Direk Ricky: “Family. The importance of family and loving each other. Again, all the characters went through their own hardships, were broken at one point, but they were able to pull through by helping each other. We had a positive and hopeful ending.”
