NLEX Road Warriors (5-5) defeated Blackwater Bossing (0-10), 90-73 to claim their fifth win in the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup on Thursday at the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga.
JR Quinahan led the Road Warriors with 16 points (5/13 FG, 5/7 FT), 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block in 21 minutes of play. Philip Paniamogan finished the game with 14 points on 5-of-12 shooting including 4 three-pointers, 3 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Don Trollano added 12 points (3/8 FG), 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals.
As per Spin.ph, the Blackwater Bossing (0-18 dating back to the 2020 Philippine Cup bubble) now tied the longest losing streak in PBA history of 18 set by Great Taste/Presto in the 1980 season.
