San Miguel Beermen defeated TNT Tropang GIGA, 103-90 to force a do-or-die game 7 in the 2021 PBA Philippine Cup semifinal on Friday at the Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) Gym in Bacolor, Pampanga.
Moala Tautuaa led the Beermen in scoring with game-high 24 points (10/14 FG, 4/4 FT), 5 rebounds and 1 assist in 28 minutes of play. Marcio Lassiter with a solid game of 19 points on 7-of-14 shooting including 5 three-pointers along with 5 rebounds, 4 steals and 3 assists while Terrence Romeo added 16 points (6/17 FG, 1/6 3PT, 3/5 FT), 6 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 steal.
June Mar Fajardo with a double-double of 11 points, 14 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks. Arwind Santos had his own double-double of 13 points, 10 rebounds and 2 assists.
The Beermen and Tropang GIGA will play a winner-take-all Game 7 on Sunday, October 17 at 4:35pm for the PBA Finals slot.
