Who is Joshua Paolo Jensen and what does he need from Richard Yap?

Halloween came early this year for actor and Cebu City north district congressional aspirant Richard Yap.

A certain Joshua Paolo Jensen has come out to haunt him.

The 24-year-old from Cavite is seeking recognition as his son — something that Richard denied.

It didn’t stop Joshua from pursuing his case, though.

Last Thursday, October 28, he filed with the Cebu Regional Trial Court a case for compulsory recognition against the actor.

Richard is convinced the stunt is “politically motivated.”

Note that Joshua has since challenged Richard to allow for a DNA test.

Richard said no.

He told reporters, ““I think it is for our lawyers to talk about. If I accept (the challenge) that means that we are guilty or we are thinking that there is a chance but there is really none. Why should I agree to what they want?”
